Hey everyone! I’m back with another cosmetic post and this time it is all about chin and jaw filler from Enlighten Med Spa in Dallas! You can see my previous posts about under eye filler here, and Botox here.
I have always had a weaker chin when you looked at my profile, so I decided that chin filler would help balance out my features. My nose profile is also pretty prominent, so this helped balance it all out. I have been going to Enlighten Med Spa in Dallas for over a year and trust them completely for all my cosmetic procedures. I’ve had facials, botox, fillers, lashe lifts, and brows all done at Enlighten! They are very conservative and do not want to make you look crazy or plastic, which I know is a big concern for a lot of people! I am always happy with my results and think it looks very natural.
I loved the result from my chin and jaw filler and it was a subtle change, but enough for me to notice. I don’t think anyone else would have ever noticed, but personally, I think that’s a good thing. If you yourself can tell, but no one else can, then it was done well and looks natural!

I had one syringe in my chin and half a syringe on either side of my jaw

Questions About Chin and Jaw Filler
Where did you go?
I went to Enlighten Med Spa in Dallas! They are amazing and offer so many services like coolsculpting, laser hair removal, chemical peels, photo facials, microneedling, and much more!
Does it hurt?
No, but you will feel pressure. Prior to treatment, they will numb the areas they are working on, so you won’t feel the needle going in. You may just feel pressure under your skin. Also, the filler has a numbing agent in it, so as it gets administered, it numbs from the inside as well. My chin did not hurt at all, but I felt more pressure in my jaw because it is closer to the bone.
How much did they use?
I had one full syringe in my chin, and one syringe split between both sides of my jaw. 2 in total.
What kind of filler is it?
They used Voluma. I also have Voluma in my cheeks and Vobella for my undeye bags (see post here).
How long does it last?
Voluma will last up to 2 years. This also depends on the type of filler and where it is placed.
Will I bruise?
Possibly. I usually bruise a little, but depending on the person, they may bruise more or less. Just make sure to NOT take Aspirin or fish oils a week before your treatment. Aspirin will thin your blood and make you bruise more!
What is the downtime?
It will depend on the person, but I have still gone out that night. You can use makeup, so if there is a little bruising, you can cover it up. There might also be some swelling, but I’ve never had it be bad enough where anyone else has noticed. Swelling will be completely gone in 2 weeks, but like I said, I barely notice any.
Can you workout after?
They recommend waiting until the next day before working out. And also staying away from intense heat like saunas, hot tubs, or laying in the sun for 24-48 hours. The filler just needs some time to set and the heat can make it move before this happens.
How Much is it?
One syringe is $850, 2 syringes is $1600. You can get 15% off your first treatment at Enlighten if you mention you found them through me!
Who did you see?
I went to Dayna. She has done my botox and fillers at Enlighten- she is awesome!!
Do I need a consult?
Yes, you will do a consult first, which is $100 and then that will be applied to any service you get done.

Enlighten is a one-stop shop because they have a fabulous boutique so you can shop while you wait. The black outfit I am wearing at the top of this post is from the Enlighten Living Boutique! They have also recently opened up a hair salon with some amazing stylists so you can book a hair appointment as well!
