I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and ate all the treats- because I sure did! 😉 I want to share a few goals (personal and professional) of mine for the upcoming year. And I would love any feedback or requests for content that you would like to see on the blog for this next year!

Before we get to my goals for the New Year, I want to talk a little about this outfit! I love a great pencil skirt for work and these shoes from Sole Society jazz up the look with stud detailing. They are also comfortable and the heel not very high, so they can be worn for long periods of time! And they also come in classic black! Here are a couple other work appropriate accessories that would be great for the office!
Here are a few GOALS I want to try and achieve this year:
These are basically the same as New Years Resolutions, but IÂ know resolutions are often talked about, and rarely followed through. I like setting goals rather than resolutions- it still allows me to strive for something, but won’t be marked a fail if I don’t achieve the goal.
1. Share on Insta stories more. Naturally, I am  not a very open person, so sometimes stories are a struggle for me. I feel awkward in front of the camera, and sometimes I stumble over my words. But practice makes perfect and I’m sure I would get more comfortable if I did it more! I want to be able to connect and share more of my life with you guys, even though I sometimes struggle to be open!
2. Become more tidy. I am not going to lie, I am a naturally messy person and I will let things clutter. Being in this industry doesn’t help either. I get a lot of boxes and products delivered every week, so boxes pile up and I run out of space to store everything! This is probably one of the biggest points of issue in our relationship- Jon hates clutter and there can get to be a lot of empty boxes and clothing dispersed everywhere. Lol
3. Travel. This is always a goal that Jon and I have, but I want to continue the momentum we have and keep making travel plans! I love exploring new places and creating content when we travel. Which brings me to my next goal…
4. Collaborate with other creative people. I love coming up with new ideas and concepts for shoots, but sometimes I wish I had another creative mind to bounce ideas off of, and shoot new and interesting content. Jon and I currently shoot all my content, but during the week he is very limited on time, so we have to shoot all our content on weekends in a short amount of time. I hope to partner with other photographers or bloggers to spend more time creating beautiful content.
