Theres a new website in town – well, somewhat new! Walmart has revamped their site and it now includes the Lord and Taylor Premium Brands Shop! I recommend check it out because they have some great brands such as Vince Camuto, Vero Moda, and Lucky Brand. Typically when I’m shopping, I love to have a wide selection available, which is exactly what Lord and Taylor has! There are price points for every shopper and the best part is FREE 2-Day shipping over $35! Because we all know that the sooner we can get our new items, the better!! 😉
Work Wear Staples
For my outfit, I went with a classic black and white combo in pieces that you will get tons of use. I found that there was a ton of work wear selection within the Lord and Taylor Premium Brands Shop, so you will have no trouble finding some great pieces! These white dress pants are perfect for summers at the office, and aren’t see-through (but maybe opt out of bright pink underwear with these 😉 )! I love keeping staples like these because even though I am not working in an office anymore, I still have meetings that I need to dress appropriately for. This black camisole is perfect for layering and can be worn under a sweater or blazer if the A/C gets to you!

Hardest thing about working for myself
A few months ago, I took the plunge of quitting my day job to pursue blogging full time, and it has been a little of an adjustment! There are definitely benefits to working at home, but it can be challenging some days. Probably the biggest obstacle for me has been time-management. I can be a little bit of a procrastinator, and creating my own schedule allows me to procrastinate more. Ha! I always have big lists of tasks to accomplish, but without someone telling me when it needs to be done by, I put it off. I always meet my deadlines, but I know I could be more productive and efficient in the process.
Does anyone else work for themselves? How do you stay on task?? I need your tips!!
