Maui is such a beautiful island and I recommend a vacation there at least once in your life! I have visited multiple times, but this was the first time taking a helicopter tour! Actually, it was my first time in a helicopter period! Air Maui was extremely professional and our entire experience was seamless.

We arrived early in the morning for our flight (the Hana and Haleakala Tour) since early morning was the best time for this tour! We watched the safety video and waited to board our ride. Once on board, the ride was extremely smooth and I didn’t even know we had taken off! I felt safe the entire time and was not bumpy at all!

Our pilot was Maui Jim, and he was extremely informative about the island! We flew up to the top of Haleakala (volcano), down to the ocean, and up to see the gorgeous waterfalls. We actually had a cliff side landing where we were able to get out and explore a little of the area. It was truly breathtaking and amazing to see these parts of Maui! I definitely recommend taking a tour. It’s totally worth it!
