Happy Friday! I’m excited it’s the weekend and that we can try out some techniques we learned at our photography lesson! After spending a pretty penny on this new camera, we figured we should probably learn how to operate it properly!! The store we purchased our camera was giving private lessons at a discounted rate, so we took the opportunity, and I’m glad we did!
It was really helpful to learn some tricks and tips specific to the type of photos we are taking. These photos below were taken before our lesson, so it will be interesting to see if Jon’s photo skills improve after our next photoshoot!
While we were shooting, a guy came up to us and asked if we wanted a skyline shot. I immediately said yes. We are always on the lookout for great places to take skyline photos. He took us up to the rooftop of his apartment and we were able to get a couple cool photos! Jon must look like a professional with his new camera, because the guy tried to recruit him to take photos for an event! I don’t think the guy realizes Jon only takes pictures because he’s forced to. 😛
