That’s how long I had to pull this wedding together! Talk about stressful! Anyone who’s been married and planned a wedding, knows how many decisions must be made. And for someone like me who is not a quick decision maker, this can be tough. We only had a 5 month engagement as we were moving to Texas right after the wedding. So decisions had to be made even quicker than normal!

Fortunately, we were able to get one of my top choices for a venue, the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton, Alberta. Such a beautiful historic building! After that, we really had to get down to business. Without my mothers decorating knowledge, I would have been lost!

All I knew is that I wanted a very light colour scheme, and that we were giving away copper mugs as favours, so everything was based off of that. I think that it all came together nicely and am super happy with the results!

We served Moscow Mule drinks in the copper mug favours!

We chose the head table chiavari chairs to be a different colour than the rest of the chairs to make the head table pop a bit more
